Give Back BBQ Bags, Supporting the John Brotherton's Pitmaster Foundation

We are committed to following the example of our founder by supporting the communities we are privileged to serve, and Goodstock by Nolan Ryan has deep roots with the Texas BBQ community.

As the first Texas Monthly BBQ Fest since John's passing begins on Saturday, we are honored to be a small part of keeping his legacy alive by coordinating a fundraising effort.

Created in honor of the late pitmaster and founder of Brotherton’s Black Iron Barbecue, the newly-formed John Brotherton's Pitmaster Foundation will keep his generous spirit alive by supporting the BBQ community and up-and-coming pitmasters as they keep the fires burning.

Celebrate the best of BBQ Fest and support a great cause by visiting the Goodstock by Nolan Ryan booth on Saturday, November 2 in downtown Lockhart at the BBQ World's Fair, or Sunday at the Top 50 Picnic at Lockhart Park.

Each $75 bag contains over $250 in gifts and discounts from tons of great brands (YETI, Ooni, Pitmaster Collective, NOMAD Grills, Sucklebusters, Liquid Death, and more) and assorted swag/discounts from top BBQ Joints throughout the state (LaVaca, Khoi BBQ, Blood Bros., Yearby's, Hurtado, and more).

100% of the proceeds will benefit the John Brotherton's Pitmaster Foundation.

So come see us and support a great cause. We will be on the Northeast corner of the square in downtown Lockhart Saturday (see P in the map below) and in between Slow Bone BBQ and Brotherton's Black Iron Barbecue if you attend the Top 50 Picnic on Sunday.
